Advocacy
The Hotel Council of San Francisco takes the lead on advocacy efforts to ensure that the city’s policies are such that the hotel community is protected. We carry the torch on these issues, rather than putting the onus on an individual hotel or brand.
Leadership
We work collaboratively with city and state leaders to ensure policies continue to evolve to further protect the hospitality community.
We support investments in public safety and business policy such as tax policy that promotes new and existing business.
We organize Advocacy Days and Letter-Writing Campaigns to amplify the voice of our stakeholders, and tailor this advocacy for hotels of all sizes.
Committees
Our Public Affairs Committee meets monthly to tackle city politics, crime prevention, attracting conventions and visitors, and creating the hotel voice regarding backing or fighting legislation.
Our Political Action Committee (PAC) helps our industry advocate for policy important to the hospitality industry. Our PAC has been influential in numerous ballot initiatives.
Services
We give our members access to real-time, ahead of the curve updates before information is publicly released.
We are also your hotel's safety net when it comes to solving urgent issues. We are able to utilize reactive strategies to take corrective action.
