The Hotel Council of San Francisco coordinates annual events that display the hotel industry’s commitment to the City of San Francisco.
Penny Pitch Charity Fundraiser
For more than 30 years, the hospitality industry has held a fundraiser to benefit St. Anthony Dining Room.
Charity Golf Tournament
Each year, the Hotel Council host a Charity Golf Tournament with proceeds going to the Hotel and Restaurant Foundation Scholarship Program. These scholarships are directed to hospitality management students at our Bay Area universities and colleges.
Hotel/Non-Proft Collaborative
The mission of the Hotel/Non-Profit Collaborative is to facilitate the successful donation of usable, excess goods, supplies and equipment from area hotels and businesses to community based non-profit service agencies. Examples of donations include furniture, computers, clothing and food. This is a grass-roots organization that averages more than 10,000 pounds of donated materials per month. Not only is this good for the environment because it diverts so many serviceable goods from the waste stream but it also gives back to the community by supporting our local non-profit agencies that serve those in need.
