The Marketing Committee is responsible for clearly communicating and promoting the Hotel Council of San Francisco’s mission to the community by assisting with the newsletters and website, organizing fundraising & networking events, increasing membership, etc.
Public Affairs Committee
The Public Affairs Committee focuses on educating our public officials on possible impacts of proposed legislation and working to reduce or eliminate any negative consequences. Together with other industry professionals and associations, the Public Affairs Committee closely follows current issues and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors on certain actions to take.
The Finance Committee meets every month to monitor expenditures and income. The committee is responsible for recommending financial policies, goals, and budgets that support the mission of the Hotel Council of San Francisco.
The Golf Committee helps to plan the council’s annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser. The event takes place in September at the Presidio Golf Course and usually sells out at 144 players.
Hotel Heroes Committee
The Annual Hotel Heroes event strives to highlight hospitality as a noble and well recognized career, feature and recognize some of the industry’s top local performers, and create a night where the hotel industry comes together to celebrate our successes.
